Antist: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

In Antist, Saint-Martin d’Antist stands on the banks of the Canal d’Alaric. The single-nave church with a five-sided apse contains 16th-century murals located in the apse. They were discovered in 1987 when the high altar’s tabernacle was removed; in 1995, Jean-Marc Stouffs restored the murals.

Culture and History

Saint-Martin d’Antist also contains furnishings from the 18th century. The altarpiece was created by Jean II Ferrère in the second half of the 18th century. The choir of Saint-Martin d’Antist is the only church choir in the Haut-Adour to have preserved 16th-century frescoes. The teams from the Maison des Ferrère et du baroque pyrénéen provide historical explanations in Saint-Martin d’Antist through guided tours.

Those who choose Antist as their destination want to rent a holiday apartment for their stay.
