Culture

At both ends, Tillac’s main street terminates at a square defensive tower; each of these towers stands above a former town gate. The main street is lined with old houses featuring arcades and half-timbering. At the foot of the Tour de Mirande, the last visible traces of the fortifications that surrounded the Castelnau of Tillac have been preserved.

The Church of Saint Jacques le Majeur has an 18th-century altarpiece that is classified as a historic monument. It is open to visitors and lies along a branch of the Way of St James known as La Ténarèze.

Anyone wishing to rent a holiday apartment in Tillac has the town itself in mind as a travel destination.
