History
The historic community of Ségos was not located on the plain, but on a ridge on the border with Villère, on the hillside on the Projan side. It came into being in the 11th and 12th centuries, when the network of village settlements was taking shape in the Gers.
The church of Saint-Orens in Ségos houses a painting of Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs, restored in 2004. It is displayed behind the main altar.
