Culture and History
The surviving parts of the feudal castle include a square tower made of hewn stone and the west façade. Château de Moncla was restored in the neo-Gothic style in the 1880s. A round tower was built at its southwestern corner on a square base, probably to monitor the valley.
The Église Saint-Michel in Monclar-sur-Losse stands near the château. It was formerly a castle chapel and was completely restored in 1870.
