History
The present-day municipality was created in 1822 through the merger of the municipalities of Blousson and Sérian. From 1842 to 1939, Blousson-Sérian also had a small thermal spa where rheumatism and other joint diseases were treated. Today, only the building remains of the former thermal spa; it is privately owned.
Culture
The historic buildings include two churches: the Église Notre Dame de l’Assomption in the north of Blousson-Sérian dates largely from the late 18th century, while the Église Saint Michel in the south was built in the 19th century.
The water tower of Blousson-Sérian stands on a hill in the northwest of the municipality. A fresco on the water tower depicts the landscapes, history and thermal activities of the municipality.
Landscape
The Ruisseau du Laüs runs through Blousson-Sérian. It flows from southeast to northwest and empties into the Bouès.
Cycling Route
The “Les bains de Blousson-Sérian” route leads from Marciac towards Ricourt through the Laüs valley to Blousson-Sérian. It is designated for road cycling, e-bikes, hybrid bikes and mountain biking. The route has 193 m of elevation gain and 193 m of elevation loss.

The Gîte Au Moulié is located in a renovated old building and offers views of the Pyrenees. Bicycles are provided free of charge at the Gîte Au Moulié upon reservation.
