Trémouilles: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Nature
The Forêt domaniale des Brunes is located in the municipality of Trémouilles in the Aveyron département, south of Rodez, in the IFN region of “Ségala”. It is bordered by woodland and the Viaur River. The Natura 2000 site “Vallées du Tarn, de l’Aveyron, du Viaur, de l’Agout et du Gijou” (No. FR 7301631) locally covers the smaller riverbed of the Viaur in the Trémouilles area.
A short, yellow-marked hiking trail crosses the Forêt domaniale des Brunes. The Sentier de l’Abbaye runs along the left bank of the Viaur.
Horse riding
In Bannes, Trémouilles, Les Ecuries de Bannes offers one- or two-hour rides with a state-qualified riding instructor. Pony and riding lessons are also available there from the age of two and a half. Lessons take place all year round and range from beginners to riders with Galop 7 and beyond; they are taught by state-qualified instructors.
The Ranch du Lévézou is an equestrian tourism centre in Le Bastié, Trémouilles. It offers one-hour, two-hour or half-day rides for a maximum of five riders.
Culture
The Moulin de Galat drinking water plant was commissioned at the end of the 1960s and was an industrial facility that was visionary for its time. Guided tours explain the production of drinking water and the importance of this vital resource. The tour is free, open to the public and lasts 1.5 hours; for groups of ten or more, it is available exclusively by prior reservation.
The church of Trémouilles has nine stained-glass panels, which are signed and dated 1893–1894. The stained-glass windows were created by the Atelier Albert Bry et Léon Laissac de Rodez. The church also contains a modern wooden statue of the Virgin Mary named Notre-Dame-d’Elle Deux Aygues.
