Since 1869, Maison Gabriel Coulet has maintained a family cheesemaking tradition that has been passed down through five generations. A visit to Maison Gabriel Coulet includes a free tasting of various types of Roquefort aged for between four and 24 months, as well as sheep's cheese.

Culture

The Menhir du Soulzon is a stone more than three metres high with two deeply engraved crosses; its historical origins remain disputed. The 11th-century Chapel of Saint-Pierre crowns the rock of the same name.

“Roquefort en Fête” takes place every two years in June in Roquefort-sur-Soulzon. Several free car parks are available in the village of Roquefort-sur-Soulzon.
