Trails and landscape

Lestrade-et-Thouels has a marked hiking trail, the Sentier des cimes. It begins 2.7 kilometres from Lestrade on the D44 towards Villefranche-de-Panat; the starting point is on the left side of the road, at a roadside area. The trail follows a contour line around the hamlet of Lavergne, passes the foot of a wind farm and continues to the Saint-Louis dolmen. From Thouels, there is a viewpoint overlooking the Alrance valley.
