Causse-et-Diège: Vacation Rentals and Holiday Homes

La Souque Noire is an island in the Lot River near Mas du Causse. In the center of Gelles in Causse-et-Diège is the intermunicipal swimming pool, an outdoor summer pool with shade, a lawn area, and games. The intermunicipal swimming pool in Gelles also offers supervised swimming and classes.

Culture

The church of Saint-Loup was transferred to Conques by Pépin d’Aquitaine on April 22, 838. In the 14th century, it was rebuilt as a pre-Romanesque structure with rounded corners, altered in the 16th century, and has historical ties to pilgrimages.

The historic site of Prieuré de Vic-lès-Capdenac is located in the immediate vicinity of Causse-et-Diège. The historic sites of Abbaye Saint-Sauveur and Abbaye de Lissac are also located in the vicinity of Causse-et-Diège. The Château d'Assier palace is located farther away in the surrounding region of Causse-et-Diège.

A memorial day is held every year at the Fréjeroques monument in memory of the resistance fighters of the Maquis d’Ols.

Hiking

The “Randonnée Patrimoine en Causse et Diège” route can be shortened via two loop sections if you become tired: after approximately one-third and approximately two-thirds of the route, respectively.
