Culture
The authentic lanes of the medieval village of Brousse-le-Château lead to its castle, which overlooks the Tarn. The Pont de Brousse-le-Château is an old bridge with Romanesque design elements and part of the Romanesque heritage trail “Patrimoine roman le long des vallées de la muse, des raspes du tarn et alentours”.
The Église Saint-Jacques le Majeur is a listed church dating from the 15th century. It was built at the behest of Jean III d'Arpajon and Anne de Bourbon Roussillon. During restoration work in 2000, traces of a 15th-century fresco were uncovered.
Landscape
The Chapelle Saint-Cyrice is a Romanesque chapel that was assigned to the Order of the Knights Hospitaller of Saint John of Jerusalem in the 12th century. The Chapelle Saint-Cyrice offers panoramic views over the Raspes du Tarn and the bends in the river.
The moderately difficult La Chapelle Saint-Cyrice hiking route is a 12.3 km circular trail and takes three hours. It starts and ends at the town hall of Brousse-le-Château.
The Jardin de la Colombie has a small viewing point from which Brousse can be seen.
