Culture and History
The cultural centre houses the Micro-Folie digital museum, supported by La Villette. The private town palace at 2 Rue du Barry features medieval masonry and two partially preserved pointed-arch openings.
In the town centre, a wing of the Hôpital Saint-Jacques and the town palace of the Durrieu de Madron family have been preserved. The Notre-Dame church was rebuilt in 1648.

Water on the Ariège
The Bonnac-Saverdun aquatic trail is an approximately 10-kilometre interpretive trail along a section of the Ariège. The trail conveys the ecological diversity of the river section, with otters, Atlantic salmon, bats and natural habitats.
At the La Ginestière water sports centre, AquaPlayPark offers an inflatable course, stand-up paddleboarding and a beach with a snack area. AquaPlayPark Saverdun features a beach, pedal boat rental, inflatable modules and a water jump. A 9-kilometre canoe route leads from La Belle Verte beach to Saverdun beach.
Hiking and Landscape
La Balade de Saverdun begins in Saverdun and offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The hiking route takes 2 hours, covers 10.7 kilometres and includes 194 metres of elevation gain. Its starting point is 600 metres from Saverdun railway station.
