Culture
The Château d'Esplas stands on a hill. Substantial remains of its outer walls have survived in a severely dilapidated state; they indicate a former quadrangular building with four corner towers. The ruins of the Château d'Esplas bear witness to the former estate organisation of Esplas.
The Église Saint-Etienne retains masonry from the 12th century in the chancel and large sections of the northern nave wall. Its bell tower was built in 1838. The covered arcaded porch protecting the portal very probably dates from the 18th century.
The Musée Pierre Bayle is located in the immediate vicinity of Esplas. The historic site of Abbaye Notre-Dame de Calers, the ruins of Abbaye des Salenques and the historic site of Abbaye de Boulbonne are also located around Esplas.
