Allières: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

In Allières, a war memorial ensemble is located on the southern interior wall of the nave of the Church of Saint-Roch. It includes a life-size statue of Joan of Arc, created by the Toulouse-born sculptor François-Dominique Monna.

Culture

The memorial plaque for the soldiers who fell in the First World War from 1914 to 1918 contains 10 surnames, first names and dates of death. The church also contains two paintings. The hiking trail offers a viewpoint over the Séronais that is suitable for observing birds of prey. Near the hamlet of Monteillas are several swallow holes where water continues underground after flowing above ground.
