Mazirot: Vacation Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Sentier des trois fontaines begins at an information board on Rue de l'Église in Mazirot. The trail is marked with yellow circular FFRandonnée signs and leads through forests, meadows, and orchards. Along the way, it follows part of the Parcours de santé de Mazirot and is classified as an easy hike. A 500-meter detour provides the opportunity to visit the Fontaine aux Moines; the trail also continues in the direction of the Chapelle de Rabiémont.

Culture and History

Mazirot church contains the tomb slab of Guy de Mazeroy, lord of Mazirot who died in 1431, and his daughter Gillette de Mazeroy, who died in 1519. The stone wayside cross of Mazirot is also part of the village's historic character; since June 3, 1908, it has been fully classified as a Monument historique.

Eleven wooden sculptures are located within the territories of the municipalities of Mazirot and Villers. They were created by various international artists at the 2010 symposium in Mirecourt and can be seen while crossing the forest.

The summit of Côte de Virine and the hill La Colline Inspirée are located near Mazirot. With its forests, meadows, and orchards, the landscape of the Sentier des trois fontaines complements these geographical landmarks with a signposted trail through different types of landscape.
