The Monument du calvaire in Darney dates from a construction campaign in 1758 and has been classified as a historical monument since 1963. The Église Sainte-Madeleine was built in the 18th century during construction campaigns in 1768 and 1789 and is listed as a historical monument; its façade bears the motto of the French Republic, “Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité”.
Camp Kléber commemorates the stay of 6,000 Czech and Slovak legionnaires during the First World War. The Musée historique de l'indépendance tchécoslovaque was renovated and redesigned in 2020. It displays photographs, paintings, objects and other documents relating to this period, as well as an interactive display.
At the memorial monument in Darney, an annual commemoration ceremony on 30 June recalls the handover, by Raymond Poincaré, of a flag donated by the city of Paris to the Czechoslovak legionnaires on 30 June 1918. The Musée Damia can be visited by prior appointment.
