Two circular hiking trails of varying difficulty begin and end in Ban-de-Laveline: the Circuit pédestre - Pique-Nique à Sorémont is moderately difficult and 10.5 kilometres long, while the easy Circuit de la Tête des Roses covers 5.3 kilometres.

The Les Petits Ordons hiking trail reaches its highest point at 965 metres at the Carrefour des Petits Ordons. The surrounding area can also be explored by mountain bike via the Circuit VTT - Plateau de Sorémont circular route: it leads to the fitness trail and onto the Plateau de Sorémont, from where there is a panoramic view over the valley and a large part of the Saint-Dié-des-Vosges basin. The route also passes through Québrux, a hamlet considered the oldest in the village and featuring typical adjoining farmhouses of the Vosges.

The Roc du Haut de Faîte mountain and the Église Saint-Nicolas church are located in the immediate vicinity of Ban-de-Laveline. The surrounding area also includes the Chaume de Lusse, Le Rossberg and Le Petit Brézouard mountains.
Culture and History
The present-day church of Ban-de-Laveline is a neo-Gothic building consecrated at the beginning of the 20th century. The wider surrounding region is home to Bilstein Castle, Château de Saint-Ulrich and le Petit Hohnack castles.
