Roche du Sphinx lies on a hill above Anould and the Meurthe Valley. This natural site, at an altitude of around 560 metres, is covered with heather and scattered rocks and consists of fine-grained, feldspar-rich granite. The circular hiking trail “Circuit pédestre - Roche du Sphinx” is 6.5 kilometres long and easy. It combines viewpoints, geological features, agricultural areas and stretches of woodland. The Église Saint-Antoine was rebuilt on the site of the former destroyed church on the hills above Anould and overlooks the Meurthe Valley.
