The protected Château d'Hausen heritage complex includes the façades and roofs of the château and its outbuildings, including the orangery, the entire garden, the façades and roofs of the gardener's house, and the property's enclosing wall. It was granted protected status by decree of 5 June 2019.

Nature

The Forêt de la Papiermühle is used by walkers and hikers; hiking and cycling routes are available from the tourist information office. It is one of the largest forests in Moselle and the second-largest forest in the entire coal basin.

Culture

Appointments are required to visit Villa Gouvy, as the villa is not usually open to the public. The composer Théodore Gouvy lived the last 30 years of his life at Villa Gouvy and composed his most important works there.

The Festival international Théodore Gouvy presents a series of concerts every year celebrating the compositions of the local composer.
