Culture and History
The Château de Blettange was destroyed in 1552 during the siege of Metz. After 1750, restoration of the Château de Blettange began under Henri Claude de Verpy.
The Blettange mill was probably built in 1585 from limestone by Andrieu and Jehanne Kromp. The waterwheel can still be seen in the ruins of the Blettange mill. The ruins lie on the right bank of the Moselle below the Château de Blettange.
