Nature

Culture and history

The oldest house in Mexy stands on Place de la Poste and dates from 1578. A sarcophagus found in the Marcolet area of Mexy is currently housed in the museum in Longwy.

The former parish church of Saint-Barthélémy in Mexy was built in 1736. Traces of scattered structures were found between the Ratentout and Chemin du Fond de Senelle areas, along a Roman road. Urns for storing cremated remains were found in the Fond des Vaux area.

Since 2006, the Comité des Fêtes de Mexy has organized numerous events and activities. Fast food was available on site at the Salon des vins de France in Mexy from 10 to 12 April 2026. Every visitor to the Salon des vins de France in Mexy received a free engraved glass.
