The Saint-Roch Cross is dedicated to Saint Roch, dates back to the time of the great plague epidemic of 1587, and is considered the oldest monument in the municipality of Maizières. It stands above the slopes of Maizières at the upper end of the Chemin des Vignes. When climbing to the Croix Saint-Roch, remnants of the former dry-stone vineyard walls are particularly visible.
The municipal Pommery Park is open to the public during the day and can be accessed via Rue Gambetta. The church and bell tower of Maizières stand on a raised rectangular promontory; the church forecourt can be reached from the road via a staircase.
