Culture and History
The church in Oradour-sur-Vayres, dedicated to Saint Christopher, was rebuilt in 1878–1879. It retains its former bell tower. Its façade contains human-shaped stones from the former 11th-century church.
The Dolmen de la Tamanie was classified as a Historic Monument on 14 June 1971. It is known as the “grosse pierre” and is associated with local legends passed down through the generations.
Located directly next to the tourist office, the Regional Natural Park of Périgord-Limousin’s museum area, “les clés du Périgord-Limousin”, tells the local history of firewood hoop makers.

Getting Around
The Voie Verte des Hauts de Tardoire is a dedicated route reserved exclusively for non-motorised forms of transport. Along this route, visitors can enjoy nature-themed audio walks on foot, by bicycle or on roller skates.

The annual “à la rentrée c'est class” festival features circus, music and theatre in the town hall park. The “Foire du trône en Limousin” has been held in Oradour-sur-Vayres for more than 50 years.
