Culture
The Church of Saint-Christophe is also one of the town’s historic buildings: it was built in the 10th century. The Pont du Saillant crosses the Vézère, a 16th-century bridge with six pointed-arch arcades.

The La fontaine des Crozes route is a difficult 12-kilometre hike lasting 3 hours and 15 minutes. It leads through the Vaysse gorges, where the Fontaine des Crozes is hidden.

The Base Sports Loisirs Vézère is located in Voutezac and offers more than twenty outdoor activities. The canoeing and kayaking options on the Vézère cover 4 or 8 kilometres and can be enjoyed alone or by families with up to three people per canoe. Rafting on the Vézère is available on request all year round, depending on the water level.
The Voie verte Vézère between the Le Saillant dam and Garavet is a 10.7-kilometre route for road cycling, hiking, touring by bicycle and mountain biking. The Base Sports Loisirs Vézère also has a freely accessible pump track.
At the Site Hydroélectrique EDF du Saillant, there are two developed hiking trails along the banks of the Vézère that approach the hydroelectric power station and the dam.
Local Life
The Fête de la pêche de Voutezac takes place in July. Chant d’Ardoise produces red, white and rosé wines from vines grown on terraces overlooking Le Saillant and the Vézère.
