Hiking
The yellow-marked “des deux vallées” hiking trail forms a 7.8 km loop starting at the Place de la Mairie. The trail offers a beautiful viewpoint to the north over the entrance to the Vézère gorges.

Culture
Together with Vézère Ardoise, Ussac has established the Circuit des puits to showcase the heritage of the municipality by exploring its history. On a walk through the centre of Ussac, the Circuit des puits allows visitors to discover the local wells. Most of the wells on the Circuit des puits are visible to walkers.
The Église Saint-Julien is built from rubble stone and dressed red sandstone and covered with slate from Corrèze.
Nature
The Étang du Griffolet covers 7 hectares and welcomes families and walkers throughout the year. Fishing is permitted there on designated dates for people with a valid fishing licence.
At the Châtaigneraie de Migoule, benches and picnic tables are available to walkers. The municipality of Ussac acquired the Châtaigneraie de Migoule to develop it as a conservatory for a collection of exotic chestnut varieties. It is the only site still preserved in France that bears witness to earlier efforts and initial work to preserve and further develop chestnut cultivation.
