Nature
Seilhac offers a wide range of activities around Lac de Bournazel. The lake covers 35 hectares and is part of a tourist complex. Swimming, team sports and fishing are possible there. Esprit nature is based at Lac de Bournazel throughout the summer and offers activities including archery, wakeboarding, slacklining, stand-up paddleboarding and orienteering.

The Bournazel tourist site also includes the 16-hectare Étang Neuf, which is reserved exclusively for fishing. From March to November, anglers can fish there for predatory fish and roach. Local clubs organise fishing competitions and championships at Étang Neuf throughout the year, including matches for pole fishing and carp fishing. A hike around Étang Neuf can also be enjoyed in Seilhac.

Trails
The “Au pied des Monédières” hiking trail is 23 kilometres long in total. The “L'eau, le vent et la pierre” hiking route follows forest roads and paths with beautiful views over the centre of Seilhac. It is one of two hiking trails listed on the Seilhac town website.
A footpath connects Seilhac town centre with Lac de Bournazel, without road traffic posing a danger along the route. An orientation board on Puy des Ferrières offers a 180-degree view from the 543-metre-high hill across the landscape as far as Puy de Sancy and Puy Mary.
Culture
The Church of Notre-Dame preserves the polygonal apse and choir of an earlier Romanesque church. The choir contains figurative capitals, while the side chapels date from the Gothic period. The apse and choir were listed as historic monuments by decree of 14 March 1977.
The statue of Saint Roch in Seilhac is a gilded and painted wooden work from the 17th century and was listed as a protected object on 4 July 1975.
The Arts & Créations Seilhac association holds an annual exhibition of paintings and handicrafts and includes around 30 exhibitors. The Médiathèque de Seilhac is open to everyone; its use and access to the documents are free of charge.
