Culture and history
The Église Saint-Pierre-aux-Liens is located in Murat; its site has been classified as a protected monument since 1942. The church has a nave, a straight-ended choir and two chapels which together form a Latin cross ground plan. Its western façade is dominated by a bell tower with three arcades.

On the Mazières hiking route, a stream is crossed on a stone bridge at the iron cross between Murat and Le Bourg. The Mazières hiking route passes the ruins of a mill and then continues towards the villa.
