Culture and History
The Église Saint-Pierre ou Saint-Sauveur has been protected as a historic monument by decree dated 4 April 1905. The Maison de la Sirène is a 16th-century house. It has a covered passageway, a projecting upper floor with exposed half-timbering and a spiral staircase made of red stone. The building is partly classified as a Monument historique and partly registered as a Monument historique; it also benefits from full protection.
The Manoir de Vassinhac is a 16th-century manor house with a polygonal tower housing the main spiral staircase. The Maison du Docteur Faige is a 16th-century house made of red sandstone, with Renaissance windows and a stone staircase in a stair tower.
Paths and Walks
The Circuit des Lavoirs is accessible to pushchairs and strollers. It runs for 6 km along easy paths and quiet minor roads, leading to washhouses, wayside crosses and “grangettes”.
The Rando des Musées is a 19 km signposted route connecting Collonges, Noailhac, Ligneyrac and Saillac. Each of the four villages has a museum or comparable facility.
