The Château de Sédières was built in the 14th century by Jean Boutier and remodelled during the Renaissance in the 15th and 16th centuries. It has been classified as a historic monument since 1958.

Culture and History
The church of Clergoux has been listed as a historic monument since 1972. It already existed in 1025 and has a single-nave body and a flat-ended chancel with a ribbed vault dating from the 13th century.
The narrow-gauge Transcorrézien railway operated until the 1960s and had a 190-kilometre network between Tulle and Ussel.

The grounds of the Château de Sédières cover 130 hectares of forests, ponds and running water. The Sédières estate in Clergoux is located along the Véloroute V87 La Vagabonde.
Le Tour des Étangs runs through the Domaine de Sédières and takes in its ponds and forest. The easy, 5.4-kilometre circular hiking trail is located in Clergoux.
The Étang du Prévot in Clergoux is a 33-hectare lake.
Trails and Activities
The “Réunion de chantier” geocaching route in the Domaine de Sédières in Clergoux is free, available year-round, 4 kilometres long and has a difficulty rating of 2 out of 5.
Supervised swimming is available at the Étang du Prévot from mid-July to mid-August. There are also opportunities for fishing, children’s play areas and picnic tables.
The Sédières mountain biking centre has twelve signposted VTT routes ranging from 5 to 100 kilometres in length. It rents out bicycles and offers guided discovery tours for young people and adults.
