Culture and History
The parish church of Sainte-Énimie has been a listed monument since 19 November 1985. Based on the masonry of the apse, its original construction appears to date back to the 12th century. The Notre-Dame-du-Gourg church also houses a 14th-century gilded wooden statue of the Virgin Mary.
Nature
The Domaine de Boissets is located 15 minutes from Sainte-Énimie on the Causse de Sauveterre. The “Natural and Cultural Heritage of Boissets” trail conveys the landscape of the Causses, shaped by agropastoral farming.
The Source de Burle is a Vaucluse-type karst spring. A wooden footbridge makes it possible to walk completely around the karst spring at the lower edge of Sainte-Énimie.
Activities
The L’Ermitage de la Roche hermitage can be reached on foot via a Stations of the Cross trail. On the Tarn, the Bureau des Moniteurs de Sainte-Énimie offers canoeing and kayaking trips to discover the Gorges du Tarn and provides an introduction to these activities.
Local Life
The Sainte-Énimie night market takes place on Thursday evenings in July and August. Local producers showcase the cuisine of Lozère there.
