Culture and History
The Church of Saint-Pierre de Lanuéjols is a Romanesque church that has undergone little change since its foundation in the 12th century. It was built from carefully worked tuff limestone; its barrel-vaulted nave opens onto a crossing vaulted by a squinch dome. The church is open for self-guided visits, while guided tours are offered depending on the programme or by reservation.
The Roman Mausoleum of Lanuéjols is a square-plan building with three niches on its north, east and south sides. It is believed to date from the 3rd century and can be visited individually and independently at any time.
