The historic centre of Langogne is laid out in a circular shape. Traces of a medieval fortification with six towers have been preserved in Langogne’s historic centre.

Trails

The Chemin de Stevenson, now known as the GR 70, passes through Langogne. The Chemin de Régordane is a former medieval trade route. Today, it is signposted as the GR 700; the marked trail runs from Le Puy-en-Velay to Saint-Gilles.

Langogne’s market is held every Saturday morning throughout the year; in July and August, there is also a market on Tuesday mornings in the town centre. The market offers products from the terroirs of Gévaudan, Velay and Vivarais.

At Lac de Naussac Plage in Langogne, visitors can swim, sail, windsurf, kitesurf, canoe, kayak and fish; swimming is supervised in July and August.
