Roc de Fenestre lies at an altitude of 1,486 metres amid a granite chaos and offers a remarkable 360-degree panorama overlooking Mont Blanc, Mont Gerbier de Jonc, Mézenc, Plomb du Cantal and Mont-Lozère. An orientation table stands at the summit.

Water and Townscape
The Plan d'eau de Grandrieu is located in the immediate vicinity of the town centre. It has a lawn, shade and toilets.
Grandrieu's buildings are situated on a rocky promontory between the ru des Mèdes stream and the Grand Rieu, which is crossed by a so-called Roman bridge.
Culture
The Église Saint-Martin in Grandrieu is a Romanesque church with a priory. It is open to the public year-round and admission is free.
The Chapelle Saint Méen was built in 1871 at a spring to which popular devotion attributed healing powers for ailments.
The Moulin des Deux Rieu is a watermill built in the 18th century and restored true to the original. It offers individual, group and educational tours with an average duration of around one hour. At the Moulin des Deux Rieu, artisanally produced flour is milled from locally grown grain using stone mills.
Nature
The summit of Roc de Fenestre can be reached on foot, as no paved road leads to the summit; the CÅ“ur Margeride tourist office offers topoguides and various discovery hikes for this purpose.
The excursion to the Forêt de Villedieu – Trail No. 34 extends Route 33 with an 8-kilometre loop through the Villedieu forest at an altitude of almost 1,500 metres.
