The Musée et Source PERRIER showcases the place where the iconic French mineral water originated more than 160 years ago. A guided tour of the Musée PERRIER leads from the museum to the original spring. The tour can be extended with a visit to an industrial gallery offering insights into the bottling process.

The town's history includes the 13th-century Cheminée Sarrazine, which is visible at today's private school “La Sarrazine”. It is considered the only visible relic of the period when the village probably became established at its present location between 1000 and 1200. Since December 1949, the Cheminée Sarrazine has been listed in the supplementary inventory of historic monuments.

The Parc du Cottage was once the residence of the British directors of the PERRIER spring.

Nature and Trails

The Boisement Perrier is a 17-hectare wooded area created from plantings carried out in autumn 1997 as part of the “2,000 Trees for the Year 2000” campaign. The Boisement Perrier is open to everyone and offers more than 2 km of walking trails.

A permanent open-air event area with stone seating steps made from stone from Vers and a stage is planned for the Parc du Cottage. Low-barrier paths are also planned for the Parc du Cottage, intended to connect Vergèze town centre with the neighbourhoods east of the bypass.

Water

At Plage des Lacs, visitors can enjoy paddleboarding and other water sports from a pontoon. A natural reed bed at Plage des Lacs is home to rich biodiversity and provides a peaceful setting.

Cycling

The La Voie Verte cycle route leads to Vergèze and its cooperage museum.
