The “Au fil du temps” circular trail takes approximately one hour. It is of moderate difficulty, with some challenging sections, and is equipped with a downloadable audio guide. The Vallon d’Escaunes à Cantarelles offers secured and informative hiking trails. One circular trail there leads to the summit of the La Perrotte rock and offers views over the terraces.

History
Sernhac was formerly fortified; of the historic gates, the Porte Sarrasine has survived. The church of Sernhac was rebuilt after an earlier church had been destroyed by the Saracens.
The Tunnel de la Perrotte is a preserved Roman tunnel measuring 74 metres in length and is open to the general public. A 3-metre-high bronze statue of Notre-Dame, weighing 3.5 tonnes, was installed on the bell tower.

Domaine de Poulvarel produces olive oil and vinegar and offers a tour featuring an exploration of the two Roman tunnels, Perrottes and Cantarelle, a cellar visit and a tasting of its wines.
