History and Culture
The Château de Saint-Laurent-le-Minier was built in 1664 by Pierre de Sarret. The Saint-Laurent paper mill is documented as dating back to the 1670s. The Moulin Jourdan mill and silk spinning mill is located on Rue de la Fabrique in Saint-Laurent-le-Minier; it was later also known as Filature Lauret and Moulinerie Plagnol.
During Chemin d'artistes, artists and craftspeople from Saint-Laurent-le-Minier open their studios, gardens and terraces for a summer weekend so that visitors can learn about their work.

Events
The Ainsi va la Vis festival has taken place every year since 2016 and combines street art with music, workshops, a small market of creative makers and an evening concert. The Cinéma dans les Étoiles festival presents animated films from various countries and made using different techniques; invited directors receive the festival's Étoile d'Or.
Nature
The Cascade de la Meuse, also known as Cascade de la Vis, is an artificial waterfall through which the Vis River flows. The area around the Cascade de la Meuse lies within a Natura 2000 zone and is a biodiversity area to be preserved. Swimming is permitted in the area around the Cascade de la Meuse, but there is no supervision and visitors do so at their own risk.
Landscape and Trails
The partially ruined Hameau des Falguières is situated on a spur of the Causse de Blandas above the Vis and offers expansive views across the landscape. Espace Ceven’Trail route no. 18 climbs from Saint-Laurent-le-Minier towards Pic d’Anjeau.
Access to the Cascade de la Meuse was planned via a footpath from the designated car park; public toilets were planned along the path.
