History
The Chapelle Saint-Martin-de-Ribéris dates from the 11th century. The Chapelle Saint-Maur was rebuilt in the 19th century. The church of Montfaucon, dating from 1841, contains baptismal fonts from Roman times. The present-day Chapelle Saint-Martin, formerly St-Martin-des-Ribiers, is the oldest building in the municipality of Montfaucon.

Events
The Fête de la Fraise took place in Montfaucon for the third time in 2026, following the 2025 edition. As part of the Fête de la Fraise 2026, a guided tour of Montfaucon’s old village was planned. The Fête de la Fraise 2026 also included a market featuring local producers and craftspeople.
