Lézan: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The Voie verte d’Anduze à Cardet runs through Lézan. Lézan’s landscape includes vineyards on the hillsides and wooded hills stretching as far as the Gardon d’Anduze.

Cycle paths

Lézan is the starting point for the greenways towards Anduze, Cardet and Quissac. The Voie verte de Quissac à Lézan is an easy, 13.9 km out-and-back cycling route through varied landscapes of garrigue and vineyards. Le Criterium des Vignes is an easy, 53.1 km circular cycling route.

Culture and history

The Château de Lézan dates from the 18th century. A Venetian-inspired bridge with a wrought-iron balustrade connects the Château de Lézan with its park.

The Tour de l'Horloge de Lézan dates from the 13th century. It is one of the few significant surviving remnants of Lézan’s medieval walls. The façades and roof of the Tour de l'Horloge have been protected as historic monuments since 23 December 1998.

During a walk through the streets of Lézan, visitors can discover remains of the Portail d'Alès.

Surroundings

The surroundings of Lézan include the Monastère Notre-Dame de la Paix-Dieu, the Château Montvaillant, a château, as well as the peaks of Lacan, St Julien and Peyremale. The mountain of Drus is also located near Lézan. This surrounding area also includes the historic site of Notre-Dames des Fonts Saint Bernard et Sainte Claire.

Further afield in the region is the Ancien château de l'Hom, a château.

In the village

The Foyer garden has boules courts as well as a multisport court and a tennis court.
