Culture and History

Only the apse remains from its Romanesque building phase; it consists of masonry in the “opus monspeliensium” style and is articulated by engaged columns. The southern entrance features Ionic piers, a pediment interrupted by a niche, and volutes.

Routes and Pilgrimage Tradition

Gallargues-le-Montueux remains a stop on the Arles Way to Santiago de Compostela. Volunteers from the Association Pèlerins à Gallargues welcome pilgrims in municipal premises.
