Nature
Titus, le Jardin des Nymphaeas is located in the Cévennes National Park in Concoules. The garden contains more than 250 hardy and tropical water lily varieties, as well as carnivorous plants, irises and rare specimens.
Culture
The Saint-Etienne de Concoules church has been listed as a French historic monument since 1949. It has a ridge bell tower typical of the Cévennes and dates from the first half of the 12th century.
The Jardin du Tomple bears the “Jardin Remarquable” label. The more than one-hectare English-style garden includes a collection of old rose varieties. The Jardin du Tomple is temporarily closed.
Hiking
The Le Levant hike is a 13.1-kilometre circular hike starting from Concoules, with 524 metres of elevation gain, and follows a yellow-marked trail. It is considered quite challenging. The route leads around Pijalard Hill and across the slopes of Brin, approaches the Ruisseau de la Conne and passes the site of a former local slate quarry.
Another hike, La Virado del Ronc, runs along the Chemin de Régordane, over paved paths and through forest tracks.
