On the Roc de Gachone, three windmills and the base of a fourth windmill are still visible. In the centre of Calvisson stands the Church of Saint Saturnin, which has been listed in the register of Monuments historiques since 6 December 1949.

Culture and history
The historical tour of Calvisson comprises 21 stops covering the town’s prehistoric, medieval, religious-historical, water-related, wine-growing and municipal development, as well as its cultural heritage. It can be completed as a walk of approximately two and a half hours, with historical explanations in generally accessible language.
La Maison du Boutis is a museum-workshop dedicated to the traditional relief embroidery known as boutis. Its unique collection traces the history of this craft, which became an art form in its own right in Provence and the Bas-Languedoc in the 18th and 19th centuries, complemented by numerous exceptional works. Throughout the year, La Maison du Boutis organises introductory and advanced courses in the art of boutis, as well as special workshops, and offers guided group tours for a maximum of 15 people by reservation.
Paths and circular routes
The Boucle des Olivettes is a 21-kilometre circular cycling route starting in Calvisson, with a duration of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. At the beginning, the route from Calvisson follows a monumental fresco about the history of winegrowing and the remains of the former railway line.
The interpretive themed trail Chemin des Laines can be walked from Sinsans or Calvisson and is 14 to 15 kilometres long, depending on the starting point. It invites visitors to discover the pastoral heritage and pastoral memory of the Pays de Sommières.
Wine and local life
Vinopanorama is an interpretation centre for winegrowing and wine. In three immersive areas, it presents 27 centuries of wine history and the development of wine across different civilisations. The museographic interior explains the close connection between the area and its wine-growing culture.
Calvisson’s weekly market takes place every Sunday morning.
