The Protestant temple of Aumessas was rebuilt in 1825 after being destroyed in 1688 during the Wars of Religion. The former railway station of Aumessas now houses a tourist information office and a café.
The Aumessas viaduct is 219 metres long and 33 metres high, spans the Bavezon valley, and has 11 arches, each with a span of 15 metres.

The marked circular trail “Trail Aumessas – Col de Mouzoulès Ouest” is 10.63 kilometres long and starts and ends at Aumessas railway station.
The Le Montlouvier route passes through the Aigoual state forest; deer and roe deer have returned to the reforested areas of the Massif de l’Aigoual and Lingas.
The “Les hameaux, le col de Mouzoules et le Bavezon” route passes through numerous hamlets that illustrate the development of Cévenol architecture.
