The Péiras e Vinhas trail runs between the medieval city of Carcassonne and Saint-Hilaire Abbey and passes through seven villages, including Verzeille. Culture

The church of Verzeille is a rectangular building in the Gothic style. Its octagonal bell tower was built in 1897 to house the village clock.

The Ferme Equestre de Pommayrac offers classical riding lessons and cross-country riding lessons for beginners through to advanced riders aged 3 to 77. In addition to riding lessons, it also offers hacks and trail rides.
