Culture

In Saint-Frichoux, remnants of the former fortification walls are still visible. An old gate can still be seen on Rue de l'Église. The parish church of Saint-Fructueux in Saint-Frichoux is considered a notable element of the cultural heritage that contributes to the identity of the municipality.

The Portail du château is located on Rue du Château, which connects Avenue de l'Europe with Place de la Mairie. The wrought-iron gate has pillars topped by two lion statues. The Tour du château is considered a particularly prominent surviving remnant of the old village surrounded by fortifications and can be clearly seen from the viewpoints south of the village.

Place de la République and its fountain lie at the heart of the old town centre, between Place de la Mairie, the school and the church of Saint-Fructueux. A calade at the intersection of Rue du Château and Grand'Rue is probably one of the last surviving medieval road surfaces.

The GR®78 Camin Romieu long-distance trail leads from Peyriac-Minervois to Saint-Frichoux.

The drained Étang de Marseillette covers 2,000 hectares and is shared between the municipalities of Marseillette, Aigues-Vives, Saint-Frichoux and Puichéric. In the wider surrounding area of the drained Étang de Marseillette, there are peaceful, flat paths for walking and cycling through a typical landscape.

Wine

At Domaine Pujol, free tastings and direct sales of red, white and rosé wines are offered at the winery. The wines of Domaine Pujol in Saint-Frichoux are AOP Minervois wines and can be tasted in the cellar located in the village.

Domaine Pujol holds the HVE3 certification (Haute Valeur Environnementale); its 2023 vintage was the estate's first to carry the organic farming label.
