Routier: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes
The Sentier des Vignerons runs through the villages of Razès via Routier; in the village, it follows the Chemin des Moulins and also introduces grape varieties from the Malepère appellation. Those who choose Routier for their stay may wish to rent a holiday apartment.
Activities
The municipality of Routier is home to Les Fjords du Razès, an equestrian leisure facility. It offers trail rides, horseback trekking and riding lessons; trail rides take place from April to November. Pony activities are available for younger children. Les Fjords du Razès also offers mediation and equitherapy sessions.
Wine
At Les Vignobles de Vendéole, cellar tours are available year-round by prior reservation. The winery shop offers free wine tastings at any time. In summer, e-scooter tours through the vineyards are also available.
Culture
The bell in Routier Church bears the year 1571 and is protected as a movable cultural heritage object. The church also contains the painting “Christ on the Cross between the Virgin Mary and Saint Lawrence”, which dates from the 17th century.
The wall bell tower of Routier is one of the listed sights on mountain biking circuit no. 45. Cave du Razès was founded in 1947 in the former Routier railway station in the Aude department.
