Roquefort Des Corbières: Holiday apartments and houses
Roquefort-des-Corbières lies between the sea, garrigue and mountains and is one of the 22 municipalities in the Narbonnaise en Méditerranée Regional Nature Park. The La Roque cliff offers panoramic views over the Mediterranean coast, as does Saint-Martin Hill.

Culture and history
The present-day Saint-Martin Church was built between 1853 and 1857. The Chapelle Saint-Martin has been documented since the 13th century; its access road is lined with crosses forming the Stations of the Cross.
The milestones of La Clotte were erected by the Romans along the Via Domitia at intervals of one mile, or 1,481.50 m. The municipality describes La Clotte as a worthwhile stop for hikers.
The Château of Roquefort-des-Corbières was a fortified castrum, built on the Roc Saint Antoine, and overlooked the village. Today, only parts of its walls remain.
The three windmills of Roquefort were probably built in the 18th century and used to grind wheat flour.
The 17th-century painting “The Multiplication of the Loaves” is part of the municipality’s collection and is currently housed in the museum in Narbonne.
Trails and discoveries
The Circuit des têtes comprises eight sculptures created by Philipe Faraut and installed throughout the village. Roquefort Corbières Randonnées offers hiking, snowshoeing, Nordic walking, participation in Randochallenges and Longe-Côte, or water walking.
The Les bornes milliaires hiking trail leads from the village of Roquefort-des-Corbières through vineyards and pine forests to the milestones.
The Histoire d’eau route illustrates the successive changes to water in Roquefort-des-Corbières over the centuries. Les Pépites de Roquefort is a discovery experience through the village and surrounding countryside, featuring fountains, sculptures, a weighbridge, a press, street art and architectural details.
Local life
Roquefort en 2 appellations is an annual event organised by the local association La Vigneronne. It brings together local cheese, local wines, a procession of sheep through the village accompanied by shepherds, and a festive meal.
The Fête de la Saint-Roch, held every August, includes a procession, a service at the Chapelle Saint-Martin and the blessing of all animals.
