Culture
Château de Pomas has three round turrets at its eastern, northern and western corners. They rest on corbels at the level of the first floor. The painted ceilings on the first floor of Château de Pomas feature stencilled metopes with coats of arms, fruit, vegetables, animals, human busts and fantastic creatures. By decree of 14 April 1948, Château de Pomas was listed as a historic monument.
The Église Saint Julien et Sainte Basilice in Pomas is a Gothic church. Its nave is in the shape of a Latin cross. The Chapelle St Croix is located near the church; it houses a stone Calvary cross erected in 1534.
Hiking
The Circuit des 2 Vallées in Pomas is an easy circular hiking trail measuring 4.2 kilometres. The route takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes and has an uphill elevation gain of 161 metres. From a section of the ridge, there are views of the Aude Valley, Malepère, the Pyrenees, Montagne Noire, the Lauquet Valley and the western Corbières.

The cellar at Domaine Cariven in Pomas offers tastings of varietal wines and sparkling wines. During a visit to the Domaine Cariven winery, wines made from Merlot, Syrah, Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer, as well as Crémants and Blanquettes, are presented.
