Bellegarde-du-Razès is a Circulade: a fortified circular village surrounded by ditches. The village is situated on a wooded hill watered by the Sou. Most of the municipal area is planted with vines; wine from the AOC Malepère appellation is produced there.

Culture
The former lord's castle stood within the fortifications. It was converted into residential accommodation and is now preserved only in a few traces. Remains of an old surrounding wall have also been preserved in Bellegarde-du-Razès. The Church of Saint Clement is Romanesque in style and contains furnishings.
Hiking
Bellegarde-du-Razès is one of the circular villages along the Tour du Razès. The Tour du Razès is a two- to three-day circular trail through several circular villages and landscapes of vineyards, meadows, fields and forests. On the GR7, the Tour du Razès follows the watershed.
The Crête de Bellegarde-du-Razès can be reached via the Route du Moulin and then along a GR7 trail to a geodetic survey point.
Cycling
The Voie Verte in the Limouxin runs along a disused railway line with a gentle incline and leads visitors to discover Bellegarde-du-Razès. It leads to the village, which is presented there as a place with remarkable cultural heritage and as a fortified circular village. Parking spaces for the Voie Verte are available at the Bellegarde-du-Razès station; the Voie Verte route is accessible to people with disabilities.
Nature
The Crête de Bellegarde-du-Razès offers extensive views across the wine-growing landscape as far as the church towers of Routier and the villages of Haut-Razès.
Things to do
As part of the sixth national edition of “Mai à vélo”, a cycling day was held in Bellegarde-du-Razès for the fifth consecutive time. In the Limouxin, there is also a footpath on the theme of “Histoires d’Eau”, consisting of 14 panels that present various uses of the natural resource water.
