The Château du XIVe siècle in Argens-Minervois is a ruined medieval fortress dating from the 14th century. The Église de l’Assomption-de-la-Vierge dates from the 12th century and is known for its beautiful stained-glass windows.

The GR® 78 includes a 20.2-kilometre stage from Argens-Minervois to Rieux-Minervois. It begins in Argens-Minervois in a typical Minervois landscape between orderly vineyards and the ever-present Canal du Midi.

The GR®-78 hiking route can be organised without a car using the railway stations in Béziers and Carcassonne. The municipality announces walks around the Lac des Aiguilles; the corresponding routes are still to be published on the website.

On the Canal des 2 Mers à Vélo, the Écluse de Pechlaurier is connected to Argens-Minervois via a section for which a cycling time of 12 minutes is indicated.

Waterways

The Écluse d’Argens is a single lock on the Canal du Midi in the municipality of Argens-Minervois. Riverly offers trips on the canals and rivers of France and Europe aboard habitable, licence-free Pénichettes.
