Culture and History
The De Troeyer workshop in Reims was opened in 1920 under Léopold. Prunay Church contains stained-glass windows from this workshop; they were made in the 1930s.
The church bells of Prunay also tell the story of the village: they were lost during the First World War, later found again, and reinstalled in the present-day church when the village was reconstructed.
Activities
Reims Planeur is a club based at Reims Prunay airfield. The club offers introductory gliding flights lasting approximately 20 to 30 minutes, depending on weather conditions. The flight takes place in a two-seat glider or a motor glider with an experienced pilot who explains the basics of flying and aerology.
Aéroclub Reims CRNA-EST offers introductory flights as a first flying lesson with a qualified flight instructor. This includes a briefing and 30 minutes of practical training, during which the flight instructor guides the participants.
