Culture

The parish church of Saint-Martin in Potangis, surrounded by its cemetery, was built in the 16th century in a style that was still Gothic. It has three equally high, unvaulted naves connected by arcades. The three-sided choir is illuminated by windows with flamboyant tracery.

The roofs in Potangis are traditionally designed as fairly steep gabled roofs with a gable facing the street; they are covered with small flat tiles or orange interlocking tiles.

The Circuit Vélo des Coteaux du Sézannais is a 35 km circular cycling route starting from Bethon and passing through Chantemerle, La Celle-sous-Chantemerle, Villiers-aux-Corneilles, Potangis, Montgenost and Villenauxe-la-Grande.
